Highly sensitive people make up 15-20% of the population and aren’t often aware that they actually possess a different (more sensitive) nervous system than the majority of people around them.

This means they often grow up misunderstood and not adequately attuned, which can lead to feelings of shame, not belonging, and trouble knowing how to take care of themselves.

They see themselves as wrong vs. unique.

Highly sensitive people are almost always creative, deeply empathetic, and intuitive, and when in touch with who they actually are, possess unique and wonderful qualities that when cultivated can lead to rich, fulfilling, and meaningful lives.
