FAQs

Where is your office?

In Boulder, my office is conveniently located a block west of Broadway, on North St. The address is: 954 North St, Suite #301, Boulder, CO 80304. There is free parking in the garage, and on adjacent streets.

Do you take insurance?

I am considered an “out-of-network” provider. This means that while I do not work with insurance companies directly, I am happy to offer you a written invoice to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement on your own.

Insurance companies tend to place a fair amount of restrictions on the work we are able to do, including the number of sessions they will allow, how you are treated, as well as demand a diagnosis which can lead to some tricky ethical dilemmas if a diagnosis isn’t actually warranted.

What are your fees?

I charge $200 for a 60-minute session and $300 for a 90-minute session for couples. This fee is reflective of all the time, money, and energy I’ve invested into continuing my education and refining my skillset as a clinician.

How should I pay?

Paying for therapy should be as easy as possible, so I am happy to accept cash, credit card, check, or your HSA account.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Things come up unexpectedly sometimes- I get it! I ask people to let me know 48 hours ahead of time if they will need to reschedule or cancel our appointment. If it’s within the 48-hour window, I charge the regular fee for the session, because it’s time that I’ve set aside specifically for you and scheduled others around. If there is an extraordinary life event, I am happy to discuss with you whether it’s appropriate to charge or not.
